Malice

Alice has a stable relationship with her partner Hans, but she has been fantasizing for years what it would be like to be in another relationship too. Every now and then she falls in love, but she never ever takes any action on that because she does not dare put her relationship with Hans in jeopardy. Never ever.. until there is Jelle!
Alice takes a leap of faith and for a little while she is happy in her new situation. But all too soon she realizes that everything she was afraid of in the first place becomes reality.
When she finds out that her relationship with Jelle is based on lies, she takes some very drastic measures.

Malice is not a moralistic novel. It’s an ironic story with a little taste of suspense about heart’s desires that sometimes can better remain just wishes, about dependency in relationships, about growing up. After all, we humans have a whole life to get there!
